Demonstrate your ability to stalk and use cover, camouflage, winds, shadows and background by doing the following:
Cross 1/2 mile of open country to approach an observer in a known location.
Camouflage yourself against 3 different backgrounds, if possible under varying weather conditions.
Approach, unseen and unheard, within a reasonable distance, according to local conditions at the time of the test.
Locate and pass between 2 observers stationed a reasonable distance apart according to conditions at the time of the test.
Give proof of having stalked and studied at least 4 wild birds or animals in their natural state in the open by describing the results of your observations, or by producing sketches or photos which you made.
Make at least 3 plaster casts of the tracks of animals 1 of which must be wild.
