TroopTrack has features for every scouter: Overview Leaders Parents Scouts Counselors

Take Control of Your Troop's Information

As a scout leader, you know the challenge of keeping track of all of your troop's activities and information, advancement and achievements, forms and equipment, membership and money. It's not for the faint of heart.

TroopTrack was designed from the ground up for scouting, and only for scouting, to make your job easier. Your troop's information is centralized, organized, and accessible from anywhere.

As the Leader of your TroopTrack troop, you're in complete control of your troop's site. You can create and manage troop member records; create and assign scout roles; create events and manage the team calendar; email all troop members; track, manage and report on merit badges, advancement, awards, leadership, training, service, and participation troop-wide; take advantage of dozens of scouting forms that you can pre-populate with scout information; and more. But it gets better.

You're Not Alone

There's a lot you can do with TroopTrack as the troop leader. The good news is, you don't have to shoulder the responsibility alone. You can share the load by granting adults from the troop any of the following roles you like.

Role What they can do

Leader and Read-Only Leader

With the Leader role you can give others the same full access to your troop on TroopTrack you have and allow them to do everything you can do. The "Read-Only" Leader can see everything a Leader can, but isn't able to create, change, or delete anything--perfect when all you need is an extra set of eyes.

Advancement Chairs and Leaders

You and your selected helpers can manage achievement goals and records for your scouts, as well as manage equipment records, training records, and merit badge records. Chairs can provide final approval of a rank advancement.

Event Planner

Event Planners can create and manage meetings, hiking, camping, and more on the troop calendar. You can even set email reminders for your events, and let TroopTrack take care of that for you.

Librarian

Librarians can access and manage documents in your troop library, keeping the content current and relevant.

Merit Badge Counselor

Need help managing the merit badge records for scouts? Assign a Merit Badge Counselor. In addition to giving others the ability to manage merit badge activity, you can designate over 130 different areas of counseling specialty to each to help understand who your best resources are.

Treasurer

Treasures can manage the troop's youth money accounts, posting credits and debits to TroopTrack. The Treasurer can also create new accounts, assign or reassign ownership of the account to a troop member, and remove old account as needed.

Webmaster

Webmasters can manage both the troop's TroopTrack-hosted site and documents in the troop library, adding and updating as needed.

Quartermaster

Quatermasters can access and manage the troop's equipment records, including updating records with the latest photo, condition, and location information. Each equipment record can also be assigned to a patrol. Quartermasters can also check out equipment on behalf of others in the troop.
